Divine_Plan.jpgAlthough there are various crackpots around the land, who worship the moons or primitive gods, most civilized people either are atheist or venerate the Divine Plan. The Plan is a belief in a fundamental guiding force in the universe that has arranged factors such as life, death, knowledge, nature, storms, and even war to a specific goal. Some servants of particular aspects of the plan can tap into divine power…these are known as clerics and paladins. There is considerable debate in the halls of Ri Xi whether druids tap into the Plan, without consensus.

Deep below the city of Canon, sacred texts (the city’s namesake) are guarded away. Only those of sufficiently proven deific power are allowed to study these (Druids are not, settling the debate in the eyes of Canoners).

Those who dedicate their lives to an aspect of the plan find themselves frequently at odds with others dedicated to different aspects. Canon is a home to followers of many aspects, although Knowledge is welcomed in Ri Xi and War has a home in Valin’s Glory.
